Yeah, I Definitely Have a Problem :)

Yesterday I finally decided to take the plunge and pick up a new camera, a Canon T3i and have been having lots of fun experimenting with taking picture of the cat and my nails, of course.  Given I had a little free time tonight, I decided I'd see what it would look like if I took all my polishes out and organised them by colour.  This is the result >.<

I will pay (almost) money for you not to count and I think it's safe to say I have a problem.  At least I managed to get them all out and back in again without my bf seeing them all spread out :D

Here are some more pics, as it actually makes for an interesting photography subject.

  3. Yeah, I finally had to go out and get a drawer storage system for my polishes. They didn't fit in the basket I was storing them in anymore.

  5. What's your polish count at? I keep at counter on my blog to keep me accountable to my habit ;-)

  6. @Jayne What do you use to keep track of your polishes? I had high hopes for a cataloguing app called Delicious Library but it wouldn't track the polishes :(

  7. I wish I was really really tiny and could run through your pile of nail polishes while laughing and skipping along! It is pure heaven!

Review: Nicole by OPI A Million Sparkles is Accurately Named

It's amazing what you can find when you wander around at night.  My favourite time to go shopping is ridiculously late and I'm extra happy when it pays off.  I've been looking for Nicole by OPI A Million Sparkles for a while now at that couldn't be more up my alley if it tried.  I finally managed to find it in a Shoppers last night and it really does live up to its name. A Million Sparkles is a predominately blue glitter that has an amazing ability to look like a foil after a couple of coats.  Combine that with gold, silver and pink bar glitter and you have a winner.  It's seriously so sparkly I got distracted from what I was saying at lunch today.  Application is decent but you really need four coats to get completely opaque coverage.  That's ok, glitter dries fast.  It's a little rough too but nothing Seche Vite can't fix.  The Verdict:  Yay glitter! If, like me, you like sparklies to the point where it's the big...

Review: Sephora X Outburst

As you can imagine, I was pretty excited when the new Sephora X polishes came out.  Not only were there a million of them, but I could go see them in person, circling the huge stand and singling out my prey.  I'm not the most happy that the good ones are FIFTEEN dollars each but what am I going to do, not buy any?? That's silly.  I have few now but my favourite so far as to be the incredibly Outburst.  LOOK AT IT:

MOAR FLOWERS, NOW SPARKLY

Ok! So you may be feeling a sense of deja vu but WHO CARES SPARKLIES.  I actually did this flower mani before the neon one - I held the the neon glitter under my blacklight and there was no way I could not immediately apply it to my nails. Running The Sparkly Shop just continues to have perks...  And yes, I do have a blacklight bulb that handy.  Anyway, this glitter is just as amazing as the neon, it's RIDICULOUSLY sparkly.  Same thinness, nice and easy to work with.  Let's take a look, shall we?
