Review: Glitter Gal Red Sparkle

I'm a big fan of routine.  To generate the quantity of posts I like for this blog, I do my nails at night and take my pictures in my lightbox.  I then write the post at lunch at work.  Works for me but means I don't have regular access to the sunlight needed to full show how amazing some polishes are.  Sometimes though, a polish looks so amazing in the daylight that I make a change to my routine as I HAVE to show you.  Glitter Gal Red Sparkly is such a polish that deserves the routine deviation.

Red Sparkle, funnily enough, is a sparkly red holographic polish.  Those words are completely insufficient in describing how amazing this polish is.  It GLOWS like it's on fire.  In all lights.  In the sunlight it just lights itself on fire, which is why I had to take these pictures outside.  Application was really good, a lot like those holo polishes from A England.  This is two coats but you could almost get away with one.  I'm going to stop talking now, cos I want you to really look at these pictures. LOOK AT THIS.

The Verdict:  I love this polish so much, I didn't even mess with it any way with another colour or pattern on it.  That's rare for me.  It looks like those sparkly finish you get on muscle cars, it's amazing.  <3

Review: Nicole by OPI A Million Sparkles is Accurately Named

It's amazing what you can find when you wander around at night.  My favourite time to go shopping is ridiculously late and I'm extra happy when it pays off.  I've been looking for Nicole by OPI A Million Sparkles for a while now at that couldn't be more up my alley if it tried.  I finally managed to find it in a Shoppers last night and it really does live up to its name. A Million Sparkles is a predominately blue glitter that has an amazing ability to look like a foil after a couple of coats.  Combine that with gold, silver and pink bar glitter and you have a winner.  It's seriously so sparkly I got distracted from what I was saying at lunch today.  Application is decent but you really need four coats to get completely opaque coverage.  That's ok, glitter dries fast.  It's a little rough too but nothing Seche Vite can't fix.  The Verdict:  Yay glitter! If, like me, you like sparklies to the point where it's the big...

Review: Sephora X Outburst

As you can imagine, I was pretty excited when the new Sephora X polishes came out.  Not only were there a million of them, but I could go see them in person, circling the huge stand and singling out my prey.  I'm not the most happy that the good ones are FIFTEEN dollars each but what am I going to do, not buy any?? That's silly.  I have few now but my favourite so far as to be the incredibly Outburst.  LOOK AT IT:

MOAR FLOWERS, NOW SPARKLY

Ok! So you may be feeling a sense of deja vu but WHO CARES SPARKLIES.  I actually did this flower mani before the neon one - I held the the neon glitter under my blacklight and there was no way I could not immediately apply it to my nails. Running The Sparkly Shop just continues to have perks...  And yes, I do have a blacklight bulb that handy.  Anyway, this glitter is just as amazing as the neon, it's RIDICULOUSLY sparkly.  Same thinness, nice and easy to work with.  Let's take a look, shall we?
