MEGA HAUL WITH FINGER PAINTS AHHHHH

AHH MAH GAHHD GUYS, NAIL MAILLLLLLLL!!!! My oh my did I get some wicked sick packages in the mail today!  First of all, let your eyes wander over the first picture below, see what you see.

If you said OMG THOSE ARE FINGER PAINTS SPECIAL EFFECTS YOU WOULD BE CORRECT!  The amazing Kitty at kittypolishnbags hooked me up with two of the best Special Effects, Asylum and Motley!  Move over IRL friends, you have competition!  Now, deep breaths Laura, you've exhausted your use of caps lock and exclamation marks for this post.

Anyway, I'm also really excited about the six polishes you see in the middle here, all from AllThatGlittersNails.  I took some close ups of these, let's take a look, shall we?

First up, Very Peacockish and Plum and Plummer (hur hur).  Both absolute glitter bombs, I can't wait to try the peacock one as there just seems to be so many different types of glitter in there.

Next, Metal Petal and Vinyl Junkie.  Look how interesting the purple one looks, with all it's black glitter.

Finally, Cha Cha Twist and Frantic Romantic.  These both look amazing, the former for the amazing colour combination and square red glitter and the latter for sparkly hearts.  Sooo excited.

And now, the piece de resistance, two Finger Paints Special Effects!  Motley on the left and Asylum on the right.  See how many colours there are in the latter?  Can't wait.  Thanks again Kitty <3<3

Finally, two other interesting colours from Kitty, a matte suede from Revlon in Ruby Ribbon and amazing lime green Laser Lime from China Glaze.  Soooo close to being holo.
The Verdict: I can't wait to try them all!  You'll be seeing these in the next few days, keep your eyes peeled (although not literally, that's gross :) )

Review: Nicole by OPI A Million Sparkles is Accurately Named

It's amazing what you can find when you wander around at night.  My favourite time to go shopping is ridiculously late and I'm extra happy when it pays off.  I've been looking for Nicole by OPI A Million Sparkles for a while now at that couldn't be more up my alley if it tried.  I finally managed to find it in a Shoppers last night and it really does live up to its name. A Million Sparkles is a predominately blue glitter that has an amazing ability to look like a foil after a couple of coats.  Combine that with gold, silver and pink bar glitter and you have a winner.  It's seriously so sparkly I got distracted from what I was saying at lunch today.  Application is decent but you really need four coats to get completely opaque coverage.  That's ok, glitter dries fast.  It's a little rough too but nothing Seche Vite can't fix.  The Verdict:  Yay glitter! If, like me, you like sparklies to the point where it's the biggest tag on y

Review: Sephora X Outburst

As you can imagine, I was pretty excited when the new Sephora X polishes came out.  Not only were there a million of them, but I could go see them in person, circling the huge stand and singling out my prey.  I'm not the most happy that the good ones are FIFTEEN dollars each but what am I going to do, not buy any?? That's silly.  I have few now but my favourite so far as to be the incredibly Outburst.  LOOK AT IT:

All the ILNP Ultrachromes! Like Shiny Beetles!

Guess what guys, it's not glitter today!  Instead, I have the incredibly amazing ILNP Ultrachrome polishes to show you!  I saw a picture of these on the ILNP site and gasped out loud when I saw the colour shift.  I totally didn't sit for an hour at work, refreshing the page when the preorders went up.  That would be silly.  I was so excited when they arrived as they looked as amazing in the bottle as they did on the site.  I swatched each polish over black, took the photos, but no matter what I tried, I couldn't get the finish to a place where I was satisfied.  I'm sure it's something about the way I was applying it, but there would be little bumps or inconsistencies in the finish and it was annoying.  So I didn't post them.  I gave them another shot in a taped mani and YES THIS IS BETTER LOOK:
