Review: Lacquistry Happiness is a Warm Gun, So Sparkly

I've done a lot of experimenting tonight, both with an abstract version of my family quest which was a challenge set by my bf and with gold foil.  The gold foil is hardly practical in the longer term so I then did what I do every night (when I can't think of anyting else), Pinky, use a Lacquistry polish!  The lucky contestant tonight is Happiness is a Warm Gun, a most interesting silver glitter.

Happiness is a Warm Gun is a charcoal grey glitter - with a difference.  It's hard to pin down in words but if you look at the close ups you'll see that there are all these duochrome particles in there that can make the polish look blue or pink, depending on the light.  Reminds me a lot of the type of glitter in the China Glaze Prismatic collection.  Super pretty, interesting to look at and, of course, very sparkly. Application for this polish was good and normal for indie polishes.  There's a metric crap ton (official measurement) of glitter in here so you can build up opacity in two coats but you may have to push the glitter around to ensure it's distributed as best as possible. 

See what I mean about the blues and pinks?  I dare you to describe this though, it's hard :(

The Verdict: I love all Lacquistry polishes, especially for the level of innovation you see in them.  Happiness is a Warm Gun is no exception.  I prefer an opaque glitter if I can get it and this don't disappoint, either with the coverage, application or sparkle.  Yay glitter!
