Review: Dollish Polish Random Dancing

Slowly working my way through my epic indie haul from last week!  It's been literally the worst thing in the work but I'm managing to push through.  Up today is the most interesting polish I snagged from Dollish Polish, Random Dancing.

Let me preface this by saying how much I love square glitter.  I have probably a hundred (ohh that's not good) different glitter polishes and only a couple feature square glitter.  Hexes are nice but been there, done that.  Random Dancing, however, uses multiple types of square glitter which makes it a winner in my book! A tip with this polish though: it's ever so slightly tinted purple which made my choice of base colour less than awesome.  Black would have been a good choice.  Anyway, application was decent, though a little thick.

The Verdict:  I think it might be the base colour that's throwing me off here.  I love the glitter combination but didn't expect the base tint.  I will try again!  In the mean time, yay square glitter!

I HAVE A GIVEAWAY, CONSIDER IT PLUGGED MORE NOOOWWW

MOAR FLOWERS, NOW SPARKLY

Ok! So you may be feeling a sense of deja vu but WHO CARES SPARKLIES.  I actually did this flower mani before the neon one - I held the the neon glitter under my blacklight and there was no way I could not immediately apply it to my nails. Running The Sparkly Shop just continues to have perks...  And yes, I do have a blacklight bulb that handy.  Anyway, this glitter is just as amazing as the neon, it's RIDICULOUSLY sparkly.  Same thinness, nice and easy to work with.  Let's take a look, shall we?

FULL RAINBOW GLITTER INSANITYYYYYYYY

I don't know what it is, but there's something about hex glitter that is very pleasing to me.  The tessellation, the way the colours can interlace, it's just great.  The problem is, the tiny glitter - my favourite - is actually quite difficult to find. The red, especially, difficult to track down.  I FINALLY FOUND SIXTEEN COLOURS BIATCHES.  THUS, RAINBOW-Y-EST RAINBOWS EVER AND I'm sharing too at the The Sparkly Shop... But we're here for this rainbow today.  LOOK AT THIS WOULD YOU.

Neon Color Club Watermarbling with Gold Unicorns!

Oh hi!  Did you have a good holiday/break time thing?  I did.  I did lots of sleeping which, when it's cold, is just about my favourite thing.  So cozy, with so much cat hugging time cos she's cold too.  I've been doing some nails but I've just not been super feeling many of them.  My real nails have having a bit of a rough time with the weather and then using acrylics doesn't help in the long term.  Anyway, time for some eye-meltingly bright neon watermarbling!  With gold unicorns!  Cos they go with everything!  Woo!
