Sometimes, I have these brilliant ideas in my head and they just do not translate well to reality. It's extra annoying as I have to stare at them all day and it makes me all whiny. However, I feel it is my duty to show you everything - even if I kinda hate it - so you know not to do it yourself. Learning yay! So this particular "brilliant" idea started off with a suggestion from a reader, comparing Deborah Lippmann Private Dancer with Gosh Purple Heart. I happened to have that one lying around so gave it a shot. Purple Heart looks amazing in the bottle - that wonderful purple-green duochrome I find so hard to resist. The first coat was good, if not a little thin, appropriately being all colour-switchy. By the time I got to three coats, the colours just kinda stopped being awesome.
