Review: KleanColor Chunky Holo Fuchsia over Black

A while ago I was quite super excited to find these magical-looking "KleanColor" polishes on a website for very cheap.  So cheap, I had to order 20 of them, just to see if they were for realisies.  That was quite the package that arrived, let me tell you.  So many colours, glitters, so hard to choose.  When I did finally try my first one, it smelt weird and took ages to dry so I just kinda forgot about them.  Given that I haven't gotten around to reordering my polishes since I spread them out for the world to see, I've resorted to digging through.  And that, my friends, is the very long introduction to KleanColor Chunky Holo Fuchsia.

Chunky Holo Fuchsia is so interesting in the bottle. Even when I'm holding in, you can see the reds, yellows, greens and the slightest hint of blue on the edges.  On the nail, however, the red-green is more prominent, something I've seen a lot lately with the Shines of the Times and so on.  That being said, it is super shiny and sparkly, so I'll let it go.  As for application, this is one coat over Rimmel Black Satin.  It did seem to take a while to dry, so be careful.








The Verdict:  Just after I applied this I found my purple version that seemed to have a stronger blue shift, which would have been nice.  Will have to try it shortly as I love how shiny and sparkly this is.

    Niice. I've been wanting to get a ton of these but the only site I can find them on they're like $3 ea and when I want A LOT of them well....

    I got a pack of 48 kleancolors from a set on amazon for about 40 bucks. It was good to stimulate my collection when I first got started but I haven't really used them since. The solids are generally neons and they are horrible smelling and have the consistency of elmer's glue, or are exceptionally streaky. The sparkles are better, but still awful smelling and I don't really have an eternity to wait for them to dry, so I never use them either.

    I got a swag of them. They do smell odd, and some of their glitters take ages to dry. Others are fantastic though. The chunky holo black is gorgeous, and their foils are some of my favourites for how they go on and their colours.

Review: Nicole by OPI A Million Sparkles is Accurately Named

It's amazing what you can find when you wander around at night.  My favourite time to go shopping is ridiculously late and I'm extra happy when it pays off.  I've been looking for Nicole by OPI A Million Sparkles for a while now at that couldn't be more up my alley if it tried.  I finally managed to find it in a Shoppers last night and it really does live up to its name. A Million Sparkles is a predominately blue glitter that has an amazing ability to look like a foil after a couple of coats.  Combine that with gold, silver and pink bar glitter and you have a winner.  It's seriously so sparkly I got distracted from what I was saying at lunch today.  Application is decent but you really need four coats to get completely opaque coverage.  That's ok, glitter dries fast.  It's a little rough too but nothing Seche Vite can't fix.  The Verdict:  Yay glitter! Review: JENsations Stars in Space and S'mores

Guess what everyone?  I'm going to review some indie polishes that you can actually buy without having to wait for email messages!  Yay!  And sparkly too!  Imagine all the holo glory as while my lightbox produces lovely even white light, it saps any and all rainbows from manis, leaving me to try to take pictures in my kitchen like a barbarian.  It may not sound that hard but when you use a manual focus 60mm macro lens that has a wafer-thin depth of field, it's not the easiest.  Anyway, let's take a look at two, that's right, two, beautiful polishes from JENsations , Stars in Space and S'mores. First up, Stars in Space.  I started with two coats of Zoya Caprice, a very bright purple creme that you'll be seeing a lot of as it makes for a great base.  Next, two coats of Stars in Space, the most fabulous mix of silver holo glitter.  There's stars, squares (man, I love square glitter), hexes and micro glitter.  I liked this one as there was enough glitter on
