Review: Dark Brown Sparkle - A Holo Polish from Glitter Gal

I hear what you're thinking.  Brown polish?  Why brown when there are million better colours, like blue, purple, glitter, and so on.  I'll tell you why.  THIS ONE IS A SCATTER HOLO BROWN POLISH.  That's right, it's brown but it's chocka-block of holo particles!  And let me tell you, it looks so unique, so different on, you can't go wrong.  Keep reading for more about the amazing Glitter Gal Dark Brown Sparkle.

Look at this polish, trying to pretend it's just a boring brown.  Admittedly, it's doing a good job here but keep going...

There it is!  I see those rainbows.

Clearer shot of how the rainbows can be strong when the light is right.

The verdict:  I've reviewed Glitter Gal polishes before and they just do not disappoint.  They just have so many holographic particles and I just cannot resist a good rainbow.  What you see here is actually three coats but that's not as bad as some of the other holo polishes I've seen before.  This polish is just so interesting and different, I bet you don't and won't see anything like it, at least until there's a dupe.

See Harlow and Co to find out more about the polish.

Review: Nicole by OPI A Million Sparkles is Accurately Named

It's amazing what you can find when you wander around at night.  My favourite time to go shopping is ridiculously late and I'm extra happy when it pays off.  I've been looking for Nicole by OPI A Million Sparkles for a while now at that couldn't be more up my alley if it tried.  I finally managed to find it in a Shoppers last night and it really does live up to its name. A Million Sparkles is a predominately blue glitter that has an amazing ability to look like a foil after a couple of coats.  Combine that with gold, silver and pink bar glitter and you have a winner.  It's seriously so sparkly I got distracted from what I was saying at lunch today.  Application is decent but you really need four coats to get completely opaque coverage.  That's ok, glitter dries fast.  It's a little rough too but nothing Seche Vite can't fix.  The Verdict:  Yay glitter! If, like me, you like sparklies to the point where it's the biggest tag on y

Review: Sephora X Outburst

As you can imagine, I was pretty excited when the new Sephora X polishes came out.  Not only were there a million of them, but I could go see them in person, circling the huge stand and singling out my prey.  I'm not the most happy that the good ones are FIFTEEN dollars each but what am I going to do, not buy any?? That's silly.  I have few now but my favourite so far as to be the incredibly Outburst.  LOOK AT IT:

All the ILNP Ultrachromes! Like Shiny Beetles!

Guess what guys, it's not glitter today!  Instead, I have the incredibly amazing ILNP Ultrachrome polishes to show you!  I saw a picture of these on the ILNP site and gasped out loud when I saw the colour shift.  I totally didn't sit for an hour at work, refreshing the page when the preorders went up.  That would be silly.  I was so excited when they arrived as they looked as amazing in the bottle as they did on the site.  I swatched each polish over black, took the photos, but no matter what I tried, I couldn't get the finish to a place where I was satisfied.  I'm sure it's something about the way I was applying it, but there would be little bumps or inconsistencies in the finish and it was annoying.  So I didn't post them.  I gave them another shot in a taped mani and YES THIS IS BETTER LOOK:
